Isabelle Renard has a scientific background (INPG Engineer 1978, Doctorate Paris XI 1980). She began her career as an engineer in a large industrial group, including several years in the United States.
Attracted by negotiation and contract management in an international environment, she was struck by the communication difficulties between engineers and lawyers . Wishing to acquire some legal notions, she undertook law studies in the early 1990s, but passionate about the field, she climbed the university ladder (Master of International Business Law PARIS I, DEA of Business Law PARIS II) and finally took the oath in 1999 to start a new career: lawyer.
With her rich scientific background and her knowledge of the technical and operational environment in business, she naturally gravitated towards new technology and intellectual property law. She developed her practice and legal experience as a partner in major Parisian business firms before founding her own firm in 2014.
There, she has built up recognized expertise with her professional clients in all areas relating to digital transformation: dematerialization, electronic signature, GDPR, artificial intelligence, blockchain, etc. She supports them on a daily basis with great responsiveness, always favoring pragmatic approaches and the best compromise between legal security and business needs .
Her ambition for the future: to put her experience at the service of those she supports to help them chart a clear path in a complicated world.
